“Red Juliet offers a fresh and elegant
approach to quality womenswear
with a nostalgic touch”

Red Juliet burst onto the Antwerp fashion scene at the start of 2010. Designer Julie Vrijens has always had a penchant for fashion and design, but found it difficult to find great party dresses in the mid-market segment.Working as an art director and graphic designer for Elle magazine, Julie got to know firsthand what great fashion is all about and decided to put pen to paper. It was all the inspiration she needed to set out on her own.

Fledgling projects included smaller items such as jewellery and T-shirts, but these soon made way for the festive party dresses and contemporary nostalgic couture that Red Juliet is known for. With a small, but highly dedicated following, she soon outgrew her home studio and moved to a new premises in 2014; opening her flagship store in the heart of Antwerp.

Alluring cowl necks , sensual open backs and fabulously form-fitting designs are Red Juliet’s signature look. Red Juliet features all natural fabrics, quality tailoring and feminine designs. Winning the prestigious Flanders Fashion Fuel competition of the Flanders Fashion Institute in 2014 gave Julie the boost she needed to further extend her collection to include outerwear, tops, cardigans and trousers. Red Juliet is proud to be “designed in Antwerp, manufactured in Europe”.

Julie loves fresh cucumber, rocket ice creams, crisp cherries, carnival fries, Belgian waffles with cream, café au lait, wintery stews, summery salads, cava, rosé, fluffy duvets, new shoes, wallpaper, long baths, cooking for friends, snowboarding, diving backwards, Vespa’s and the smell of nail polish.
